How do I best store my cannabis after I get home?

Ideally, you have an airtight container that also protects against UV. Cannabis is best stored where it can be kept away from light and heat, but it’s also important to maintain the moisture content in your flowers.

Additionally, please make sure that you store your cannabis away from curious children and teens.

How do I know how much to consume?

For first time users we recommend taking it slow to see how your body reacts. Everybody is different and it’s important to stay safe when consuming cannabis. Start off with having a couple of puffs of dry flower and wait 15-20 minutes for the effects. If you do have a negative experience or consume too much, just know this – the feeling will pass. Cannabis is not toxic and you will not experience life-altering effects with a single dose of low potency cannabis. Also, it’s completely okay to go to the hospital if you feel worried. Cannabis is legal in Canada and it’s always okay to ask for help.

Do you ship to homes and/or deliver?

No, retailers in Alberta are not permitted to deliver cannabis.

Watch this space! Edibles will be available in store just in time for Christmas.

Do you sell pipes and bongs, etc.?

Absolutely! We carry a variety of bongs, pipes, rollies and other accessories that promote the responsible use of cannabis.

What is the difference between Indica and Sativa?

The answer is probably more confusing than you’d like, but the short answer is that Sativa is suggested to be energizing, and Indica is suggested to be sedating. A good way to remember it is “Indica = In da couch.”

What are some of the side effects of cannabis?

Short-term side effects may include a decrease in short-term memory, a feeling of relaxation, a dry mouth, impaired motor skills, red eyes and an increased appetite.

Where exactly do you get your cannabis?

Can you tell me a bit more about cannabis?

Of course! Cannabis is a plant that contains chemicals called tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is the primary compound found in the plant, in addition to chemicals called cannabinoids. These chemicals affect the central nervous system, which includes the brain and nerves. When ingested, the effects create a “high” or “stoned” feeling, and will induce a general change in perception, mood and increased appetite. The effects stereotypically last for two to six hours.

How much cannabis can I purchase?

You can purchase up to 30 grams, but that’s also the limit for the amount you can have in your possession while in public at any time.

Can I consume cannabis in public?

You can’t smoke in some public places – know your local laws and avoid getting in trouble.
